Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026. Last updated October 6, 2026.
outdated (“we,” “us”) builds custom websites, apps, and CRM and database systems for businesses. outdated.io is run by Outdated LLC. This page explains what we collect on outdated.io, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, our booking form, your call prep page, the emails and texts about a call you book, and the private links we send to clients.
The short version
- We collect what you type into our booking form, plus the basic technical data every website receives.
- We use it to book your call, remind you about it, and come prepared.
- We text you only about the call you booked: a confirmation and reminders. No marketing. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help.
- We do not sell your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Our public pages have no analytics tools, no ad pixels, and set no cookies.
- You can ask us to see, fix, or delete your information at any time.
What we collect
When you book a call
Our booking form asks a few questions, one at a time. We keep what you give us:
- Your name and your business name
- Your business website, if you share it
- Your answers about your business: what kind of business it is, how long you have been open, a rough monthly revenue range (you can choose “Rather not say”), what is holding it back, where new customers come from, and how your website is doing
- The call time you choose, and your time zone, which your browser tells us so times show correctly
- Your email address and your mobile phone number
What we record when you book
- Your agreement to texts: the date and time you booked, the phone number you gave, and the exact words of the text message notice shown next to the booking button at that moment.
- Our messages to you: the emails and texts we send about your call.
- A scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, used only to stop spam and repeated or automated booking attempts. We do not store your raw IP address with your booking. These records are only checked against the last day of attempts, and we clear old ones out regularly.
When you visit
Our host, Vercel, processes standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you asked for, so it can deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
The “Ask us” question box on our homepage works only in your browser. It does not send or store anything you type in it.
If you become a client
When we work together, we send you private links. Through them we keep your answers and the files and images you upload for your project, the agreements you sign (your name, email, title, signature, and the IP address and browser details recorded at signing), and billing records. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To book your call, hold your time, and send your calendar invite, Google Meet link, and prep page
- To email you about your call: the confirmation, what we will cover, and reminders
- To text you about your call (see Text messages below)
- To prepare for the call, including your free online checkup, which looks at your website and your public listings
- To reply when you write to us, to move or cancel your call when you ask, and to follow up about the project we discussed
- To keep the booking form safe from spam and abuse
- If we work together, to deliver the work, send agreements and invoices, and keep business records
We do not use your answers to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell them.
Text messages (SMS)
When you book a call, you agree to texts, and we text the mobile number you give us about that call.
- What we send: a confirmation when you book, a reminder the day before, and a reminder an hour before. These texts are about your call only. They are not marketing.
- How often: a confirmation when you book, and reminders before your call. No marketing texts.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any of our texts. You will get one final text confirming you are opted out, and no more texts after that. Replies like UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL also work. Your call stays booked, and we keep in touch by email. You can also email us and ask us to stop texting you.
- To start again: reply START.
- For help: reply HELP, or reply to your confirmation email.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt-in data and consent to any third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent. Your consent to our texts is for outdated only, and we never pass it on to anyone else.
Emails
We email you the confirmation for your call, your calendar invite, your prep page, and reminders before the call. These emails are about your call and how we work. To stop them, reply to any of them and tell us.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the parts of our business described above. Each one receives only what it needs to do that work for us.
| Vercel | Hosts outdated.io. Receives standard request data such as IP address and browser type. Privacy policy |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Our database and file storage. Stores what you give us in the booking form and through client links. Privacy policy |
| Resend | Sends our emails. Receives your name, email address, and the content of the email. Privacy policy |
| Twilio | Delivers our text messages. Receives your mobile number and the text content. Privacy policy |
| Google (Calendar, Meet, and our team email) | Puts the call on the calendar, sends your invite, and hosts the video call. Your name and email appear on the invite. Our team’s own booking notices, which include your booking details, arrive in our Google email. Privacy policy |
| Stripe | Processes payments, for clients only. Receives the payment details you enter. Privacy policy |
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. Apart from these cases, we share it only with your permission.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising that follows you across other sites. When you join a Google Meet call or use your own email or calendar app, that company’s own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
Cookies, tracking, and Do Not Track
The public pages of outdated.io, including the booking form, set no cookies and load no analytics tools, ad pixels, or scripts from other companies. Our fonts, images, and videos come from our own site. Team members who sign in to our private workspace use a login cookie; visitors never do. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first.
We do not collect information about your activity over time and across other websites, and no other company collects that kind of information through outdated.io. Because we do not track you across sites, we do not respond differently to a browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal: there is no tracking for it to switch off.
How long we keep it
- Booking details and client records: for as long as they help us talk with you about your project and keep our business records, unless you ask us to delete them.
- Text consent and opt-out records: for as long as we need them to show you agreed, and to keep honoring your choice if you opt out.
- Spam check records: the hashed IP address of each booking attempt is only used for a day, and we clear old ones out regularly.
- Reminders: if your call is cancelled, the reminders scheduled for it are cancelled too.
Your choices and rights
- See, fix, or delete your information: email us at info@outdated.io or reply to any email we sent you. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the email address or phone number you used, so we know the request is really from you.
- Stop texts: reply STOP.
- Stop emails: reply to any of our emails and ask us to stop.
If you live in California or another place whose laws give you more privacy rights, such as the right to know, correct, or delete your information, you can use those rights the same way. We honor these requests no matter where you live, we reply within the time the law where you live requires, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
How we protect it
The site runs on encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our database is limited to our team, signed agreements and uploaded files are kept in private storage, and IP addresses from the booking form are hashed before we keep them. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Where your information is handled
We work with businesses around the world. Our service providers store and process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different privacy laws from where you live.
Children
outdated.io is for business owners. It is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have from you, we will also email you before it applies to that information.
